Unsecured lending protocol TrueFi has rolled out a lending platform for asset managers to establish their own decentralized finance offerings, CoinTelegraph reported.

  • The marketplace will enable managers to design, launch, and finance new investment products, along with providing access to TrueFi’s lenders and borrowers and stablecoin operator TrustToken’s institutional services.
  • Institutional clients were given access to the first version of the TrueFi protocol in November 2020, when the TRU token was launched. It allows the establishment of TRU-denominated collateral-free loans vetted by on-chain credit scores.
  • TrustToken Chief Executive Raphael Cosman said the best yields are in decentralized finance, and are no longer in traditional markets. This is expected to drive traditional finance on-chain moving forward.

TrueFi earlier this week partnered with Mexico-based Y-Combinator as its first non-crypto financial partner.
