US electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc posted sales of 59,845 China-manufactured vehicles in January, according to a report by Reuters on Monday.
- Tesla, which is manufacturing Model 3 sedans and Model Y SUVs in Shanghai, made sales of 70,847 China-manufactured vehicles in December last year.
- Chinese EV manufacturers posted deliveries of 9,652 cars in January, growing by 33.6% year on year, and Xpeng Inc delivered 12,922 units.
CPCA reported that passenger car sales in January in China amounted to 2.11 million, falling 4.5% from a year earlier. TSLA down -2.09%, pre-market trading
