Remote access software provider TeamViewer recorded double-digit growth in its fourth-quarter 2021 billings to bring annual growth above the midpoint of its guidance, the company announced in a filing.

  • Fourth-quarter total billings grew by 20%, driven by the improved performance in enterprise trading and continuous billings in the SMB segment. Full-year billings were up 19% to EUR 548 million, above the midpoint of the guidance.
  • TeamViewer ended 2020 with a total of 627,000 subscribers, falling in line with the 30,000 to 50,000 additional subscribers the company announced earlier. The company suspended free-to-paid campaigns during the year.
  • The company’s adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization are expected to fall between EUR 254 million and EUR 257 million, bringing the margin to around 47%.

Chief Financial Officer Stefan Gaiser attributed growth to high renewal rates and strong billings growth, particularly in the enterprise segment. TMVWY closed up 2.54%.
