Kraken started trading Ethereum-based meme coin Shiba Inu on November 30, the cryptocurrency exchange announced in a statement.
- Kraken deposits require 20 confirmations, with the Shiba Inu token a minimum deposit of 373,000 coins. It will be tradeable against USD and EUR with a trading minimum of 50,000 SHIB.
- The cryptocurrency exchange said the offering would have a price precision of eight decimal places and a quantity precision of five decimal places, with order entry and execution starting November 30.
- Limit orders are recommended when trading starts, as Kraken said markets might be initially illiquid. Kraken has warned traders to take caution on market orders and orders that trigger market orders.
- Kraken said it plans to list more assets, but details will only be released shortly before the launch. All of its listed tokens are available on its website, and announcements will be made on its blog and social media accounts.
SHIB has continued to record double-digit gains so far on Monday. SHIB is up 33.98%.
