Video-game company Roblox reported impressive Q3 results, with revenues of $637.8M beating an estimate of $636.5M, according to a press release by Roblox on Monday.

  • Bookings surged by 28% year over year in the quarter. The core revenue excluding deferred revenue stands at $509.3 million, up 102% YOY. In the past quarter, revenue had expanded by 127%.
  • The company’s net loss worsened to $74 million from $48.6 million in the year-ago quarter.
  • Roblox posted that it had more than 47.3 million average daily active users in Q3, up 31% YOY and up from 43.2 million in the second quarter.
  • The game was not available between October 28 and October 31, a period that is within the company’s fourth quarter.
