Fintech start-up Ripple to launch a new product that allows enterprises to provide their clients the ability to buy and sell cryptos, according to a press release by Ripple on Tuesday.

  • The San Francisco-based company stated that the feature, referred to as Liquidity Hub, will give enterprise clients access to digital assets from numerous sources.
  • Clients will be able to provide trading in selected cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, ethereum classic, bitcoin cash, and XRP.
  • The company is also optimistic to provide other digital assets like NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, in the future. The feature is now at a previous stage but is set for launch in 2022.
  • Ripple also sells a platform, known as Ripple Net, a financial messaging service adopted by banks and other financial institutions to send money across borders.

Ripple is currently embroiled in a legal tussle with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission over XRP.  XRP USD down -2.40%, BTC USD down -0.63%
