The aggregated open interest for Ethereum futures hit a fresh all-time high on Wednesday to indicate the possibility of even bigger climbs in the future, CryptoBriefing reported.

  • Open interest for ETH futures hit $12.6 billion across the globe on Wednesday, outpacing the previous record of $11. billion hit on September 6 this year.
  • On the other hand, total open interest for Bitcoin futures also posted gains at $26.4 billion, hovering at its record-high of $27.4 billion last reported on April 14.
  • The latest data shows that both digital tokens are likely to sustain their uptrend, and could likely make even larger jumps in the near term. ETH is predicted to hit $8,000 in the next two months, and BTC to $73,000.
