Nio, a Chinese EV maker, has followed rival Tesla into the realm of cryptocurrencies by giving NFTs to its employees, according to a report by CNEVPOST on Tuesday.
- The company has been exploring new strategies to maintain close relationships with its car owners and is adopting the same strategy with its internal workforce management.
- The Chinese EV maker usually provides brooches to its employees annually to commemorate its growth, but it has given out NFT digital brooches this year.
- The theme of this year’s brooch is “Hello Norway,” which was created by renowned jewelry designer Thomas V and inspired by the Northern Lights.
- The announcement only came a few weeks ago after the company stated it was involved in cryptocurrencies.
