Nio Inc posted a fall in deliveries in February over last as the US-listed Chinese EV maker halted production during the spring festival, according to a news release by Nio on Tuesday.

  • Nio stated that it delivered 6,131 electric vehicles last month, falling 36.4% over January and a rising 9.9% over February 2021.
  • The Shanghai-based Nio stated it delivered 1,084 six-seater and seven-seater ES8 SUVs, 3,309 five-seater E66s, and 1,738 five-seater EC6 coupe models.
  • Nio has delivered a total of 182,853 vehicles as of January.

Nio stated it has suspended production at the NIO-JAC manufacturing plant in the Spring Festival holiday from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6 and adjusted the production lines in anticipation of the delivery of ET7 in March 2022. NIO down -2.45%, Pre-market trading
