Chinese electric-car maker Nio Inc. recorded double-digit growth in its deliveries in March to bring the first-quarter level to a fresh quarterly record, the company announced in a filing.
- Nio said it delivered 9,985 units in March, reflecting a 37.6% growth from the same month last year. This includes 9,822 premium smart electric vehicles — 1,726 ES8s; 5,064 ES6s; 3,032 EC6s; and 163 ET7s.
- The latest monthly deliveries brought the first-quarter figure to a fresh record of 25,768, equivalent to a 25.8% annual increase. The company’s cumulative deliveries grew to 192,838 vehicles.
- Nio is set to launch the 2022 NIO ES8, ES6, and EC6 next month, featuring the firm’s latest digital cockpit hardware. It will also roll out its new mid-to-large five-seater unit with NIO Technology 2.0 during the period.
The company has so far deployed 884 power swap stations, 727 power charger stations, and 3,832 destination chargers in China. NIO is up 6.08%.
