Meme token Shiba Inu climbed as much as 25% after its listing on the Coinbase main exchange, CyptoBriefing reported.
- Shiba Inu’s coin value jumped an estimated 25% hours after its listing to 8.4 cents per 10,000 tokens. It saw a matching jump on September 9, when the coin was listed on Coinbase’s professional exchange.
- The listing of the token on the main exchange enables investors to trade Shiba Inu on Coinbase’s web exchange, with features available to users of the firm’s applications for both iOS and Android users.
- Coinbase cited Shiba Inu’s finely-denominated one-quadrillion token supply, and its ecosystem which features a non-fungible token project as well as a decentralized exchange.
Shiba hit a record-high of 35.3 cents per 10,000 tokens in May, and remains among the 50 largest digital tokens with a market capitalization of $1.2 billion. SHIB is up 31.27%.
