Dogecoin’s DOGE is the second most popular cryptocurrency in the US, with over 54.10% having heard of the meme token, according to a Huobi Group survey.

  • Dogecoin rival Shiba Inu or SHIB comes fourth, with 28.31% of the survey respondents saying they have heard of it, in a surprise rank of the two meme tokens.
  • Bitcoin still maintains the top spot as the most popular cryptocurrencies, with up to 83.46% of the survey respondents saying they have heard of the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
  • Ethereum is ranked third, while Binance Coin, Tether, Solana, and Cardano come at positions 5, 6, 7, and 8, respectively. 
  • At least 52% of the survey respondents say the lack of knowledge prevents them from investing in crypto, while 42% cite the inherent risks. 
  • 34% of individuals say the lack of regulatory clarity in cryptocurrencies is preventing them from making inroads, with 25% citing insufficient funds. 
  • About 19% of the Huobi survey respondents expect the crypto industry to transform the financial sector, while 23% are not confident of the industry. 16% expect the crypto industry to grow, albeit slowly.

Huobi Global conducted a poll on 3,144 US adults. DOGE/USD is down -5.36%, SHIB/USD is down -2.67%.
