Binance will cease offering SGD trading pairs and SGD payment options for its Singapore users starting on Friday, 10 September 2021, according to the company’s announcement.
- Binance’s move aims to ensure compliance with the local regulations.
- The restrictions, which kick off at 04:00 AM UTC, also involve removing Binance apps from Singapore’s iOS and Google Play stores.
- Singapore users will be required to perform all related P2P trades and remove related trade adverts by Thursday at 04:00 am UTC.
Binance says it welcomes all regulatory frameworks and is committed to working constructively for the benefit of its users.
