A significant share of millennial millionaires have at least a quarter of their wealth in the form of cryptocurrencies, CNBC reported.
- The CNBC Millionaire Survey found that 47% of wealthy millennials have more than 25% of their assets in cryptocurrencies, while more than a third have at least half in digital tokens.
- In terms of the total respondents, 83% of the millionaires do not have any crypto holdings and only 10% of the respondents keep a tenth of their wealth in crypto. There were no baby boomers who said they had over 10% of their wealth in crypto.
- The survey was conducted by Spectrem Group, which said younger investors dove into cryptocurrencies even when it was new, while older investors were wary of the space.
The poll took into account 750 investors with at least $1 million in investable assets. BTC/USD is up 1.37%, ETH/USD is down 2.38%, and XRP/USD is down 1.97%.
